We’re Montpelier, Vermont’s source for fashion and comfort – from head to toe.  We began 8 years ago as an offshoot of our parent store, Onion River Sports in the space that once housed the famous “Horn of the Moon Cafe”.  We started out small, selling running shoes, Dansko clogs, some Merrell jungle mocs and the quintessential Birkenstock (could we have been in VT without those?) – we knew people wanted comfortable feet, but back then, the choices weren’t nearly as good as today!

Since then we’ve doubled in size (wow), expanded out footwear to include brands that are as fashionable as they are comfortable – including Frye, Keen, Clarks and more!  You’ll have to come visit us for the full selection, but check out our “Brands” page to see what we’ve got this season.

We now have clothing that sticks to our fashionable and comfortable theme, with a huge selection of Ibex (Vermont’s own wool clothing company), Eileen Fisher, Isda and Company, Lilla P and more every season.  We know it’s hard to find clothing for Vermont’s lifestyles – we look for clothing that can go from work to play and back again, and that doesn’t take itself to seriously.
